Three issues of Provoke Magazine as well as three individual catalogues. Black paper wrapper that enclosed books has tears from transport, two red rubber bands supple and intact, one printed with "The Japanese Box" in black. Housed in original shipping box.
This production of "The Japanese Box" was conceived of by printer Gerhard Steidl and fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld to celebrate the avant-garde of Japanese photography in the late 1960s and early 1970s.
