An English translation of Laszlo Moholy-Nagy's (1895-1946) treatise on the three mediums of the title originally published as a Bauhaus of 1925-27. In republishing the designers were attentive to the imporatance of design and typography to the original German production in getting Moholy-Nagy's ideas across and replicated as best they could in this production. An important book by an important member of the Bauhaus.
