Red cloth boards with black embossed title in English on cover board, black embossed titling in English and Japanese on spine. Interior text in Japanese and English. The rare orange cardboard slipcase with titling in English and Japanese is in Very Good condition with light scuffing from shelf wear. An essay by Joe Price appears at rear. Laid in is an original 4"x6" color photograph of the Ford House taken in 1995 by Sidney Robinson, the owner. Sidney Robinson is an architect and writer. Fine / Very Good.
An important early work on the breadth of Bruce Goff's (1904-1982) career. Goff started early in his career greatly influenced by Wright's form of Prairie School Architecture, but in time develop his own almost whimsical style of organic architecture.
