Inscribed by Arnold Genthe (1869-1942) on the first free endpaper. Genthe first burst on the scene with his photographs of the 1906 San Francisco Earthquake. He later became known for his celebrity portraits. This was Genthe's fourth book. Isadora Duncan died two years before publication in September of 1927.
