Tacita Dean purchased photographs and snapshots at flea markets in Germany ("floh" translates into "flea" in English) and then, with Martyn Ridgwell, compiled them into this book. It is Dean's fourth artist book. Signed in pencil by the artist, Tacita Dean on the colophon. Produced in an edition of 4000 copies, this being copy #1029.
