London: John Murray, 1829-1837. Three Quarter Leather. First Edition. 16 mo. Red leather spines with gold embossed titling, red cloth insets on cover boards, marbled endpapers. Slight wear and scuffing to covers, eaxch volume has a slight crease on front hinge of each volume. Top edges gilded. Clean within.
Volume 5 is a second edition, published in 1837. Very Good.

As. xxii, 367; 414,  Index of Artists; 312, ; xxv, 326, ; viii 382pp. 4to. Full leather binding with bold embossed border on front and rear boards of each volume with inset border of blind embossed Greek keys. Four raised bands at spine, two burgundy patch titles on each volume with titles embossed in gold. Light chipping and wear to each volume hinges still tight, leather has not split at hinges as is common with an edition of this age bound in leather. Bookplate of previous owner, Charles Brune Henville, affixed to front pastedown of each volume. Light foxing to preliminary pages of each.....
