Light wear and chipping to dust jacket, has darkened from sunning, small loss at top of front panel; small loss at head of spine that continues around back panel, now in mylar cover. Blue cloth covered boards with gold embossed titling to spine, previous owner's name written neatly in ink on first free endpaper. Clean within.

Both volumes bound in full leather, splitting beginning to front boards on both volumes do to use, but still tight to text block. Red and black patch titles on spine with gold embossed titlinig. Wear and shipping at edges and corners. Pencil marks on pastedown of Volume I, previous owner's bookplates on front pastedown of each album. Signature of "Geo. Brinkerhoff/1807" on half-title page of Volume I, title page of Volume II. Also, the signature of "John H. Remsen" on title page of each volume. Clean within with slight darkening to pages from age. A clean, tight set.

London: D. I. Eaton, 1795. Full Leather. As. viii, liv, [2, errata, blank], 142 pp. 12mo. Full leather binding with light chipping and wear at edges. Gold embossed decoration and titling to the spine, a red and green wash has been applied to the cover boards in horizontal stripes. Front hinge of board has split, but cords and cover still tight to text block. Small 2"x1/2" piece cut from upper right corner of title page along with an early price in ink. Staining to title page, slight darkening to pages within due to age. Very Good.
